Trust & Compliance

How we source, verify, and protect the data behind every listing.

Data Provenance

All listing data on ghar.auction is sourced from BAANKNET, the Public Sector Banks Alliance Network. BAANKNET aggregates official SARFAESI auction notices published by PSBs across India.

We do not scrape, crawl, or infer listings from unofficial sources. Every record traces to a published bank notice with a verifiable case number and source URL.

Verification Process

Listings are refreshed via automated daily synchronization with BAANKNET source feeds. Each record is validated against our schema — fields like reserve price, auction date, bank name, and address must pass strict type and range checks before publication.

Records that fail validation are quarantined and excluded from the public listing index. Our quality report tracks acceptance rate, field completeness, and deduplication metrics.

DPDP 2023 Compliance

ghar.auction processes personal data in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP). Buyer leads are collected only with explicit, informed consent tied to a specific listing.

Personal data submitted through our lead forms (name, email, phone) is retained for a maximum of 90 days after the associated auction date. After this period, records are permanently deleted.

Users may request data access, correction, or erasure at any time by writing to hello@ghar.auction. Requests are processed within 7 business days.

Third-party Attribution

Map tiles and location data are provided by OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL license.

Geocoding enrichment uses GeoNames (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0).

Location pins represent approximate coordinates derived from pincode centroids. They should not be relied upon for precise property boundary identification.
